Large Group Pros- story telling, presenting new information, show and tell

Cons- Innapropriate pacing for fast or slow students, student may be easily distracted or questions can go unanswered

Small Group Pros- more student participation, students more likely to stay on task

Cons- more teacher planning, more seatwork for students

Single Student with Teacher Pros- research shows it is a positive way to help students

Cons- there aren't enough teachers for every student, learned helplessness
